How to play Fortnite on (almost) any device

Fortnite not available on your device?

Do not fear, you can use Chrome browser (or Edge) to play Fortnite. We use it on a tablet and old laptop.

What do you need?

  • Chrome or Edge browser
  • VPN set to US
  • Microsoft Account
  • Fortnite Account

Steps

  1. Get your VPN (we use CyberGhost VPN, because it’s the cheapest, only $2 per month for up to 7 devices!) and set it to anywhere in the US.
  2. Open Chrome on your device
  3. Log in to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/cloud-gaming with your Microsoft Account.
  4. Log in or sign up to Fortnite (it’s free)
  5. Play

Limitations

  • Compared to the app it’s a bit laggy
  • If your internet speed is bad, this won’t work well
  • Sometimes you can’t play if xbox servers are overloaded
